Toripalimab Plus Concurrent Chemo-radiotherapy for Unresectable Locally Recurrent Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Through multicenter, open-label, randomised clinical trials, we intend to demonstrate that concurrent and adjuvant PD-1 treatment added to concurrent chemo-radiotherapy could further decrease the rate of disease progression and improve the survival outcome of patients with unresectable locally recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma compared with those treated with concurrent chemo-radiotherapy alone.

CPX-351 for the Treatment of Secondary Acute Myeloid Leukemia in Patients Younger Than 60 Years Old

This phase II trial studies how well liposome-encapsulated daunorubicin-cytarabine (CPX-351) works in treating patients with secondary acute myeloid leukemia who are younger than 60 years old. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as CPX-351, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by …

Inductive Camrelizumab and Apatinib for Patients With Locally Advanced and Resectable Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

In patients with locally advanced oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), due to the large tumor burden and neck lymph node metastasis, comprehensive treatment is recommended, including surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and others. Pre-operative inductive therapy can reduce tumor volume, increase organ retention rate, and reduce distant metastasis rate. Vascular endothelial growth …

A Study Evaluating The Safety And Pharmacokinetics Of Escalating Doses Of RO7297089 In Patients With Relapsed Or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

This is a first-in-human Phase I, open-label, multicenter, global, dose-escalation study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of RO7297089 and make a preliminary assessment of anti-tumor activity in patients with R/R MM for whom no established therapy for MM is appropriate and available or who are intolerant to …

Hyperpolarized Imaging for New Treatments

The introduction of triple combination CFTR modulator therapy for patients with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) with at least one copy of the deltaF508 mutation is expected to provide major health benefits, but will also require novel outcome measures that can detect CF lung disease at an early stage, capture the efficacy …

Erector Spinae Plane Block After Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Surgery

Management of this postoperative pain is thus important. Different pain management therapies exist. The erector spinae plane (ESP) block was described in 2016. It involves the injection of local anesthetics into the interfascial plane, deep to erector spinae muscle, allowing the blockade of the dorsal and ventral rami of the …

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Constraint Induced Language Therapy for Alzheimer Disease

Impaired verbal communication is a cardinal symptom of Alzheimer Disease (AD) and the source of enormous distress and disability. Effective therapies for this deficit are lacking. In light of the emerging literature demonstrating that Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) improves general cognition in subjects with Alzheimer Disease (AD), the investigators propose …
