This study investigates the effectiveness of auricular acupressure in managing Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) symptoms among female undergraduate students. PMS is a common condition causing emotional, behavioural, and physical symptoms before menstruation. Auricular acupressure is a non-invasive method that applies pressure to specific points on the ear, and this study aims to see if it can reduce PMS symptoms compared to a sham treatment.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 to 65 with a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes and HbA1c levels between 7% and 10%. Participants should not have any severe cardiovascular conditions or be on insulin therapy.
- Study details: Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational treatment or a placebo. They will need to attend clinic visits for assessments and provide blood samples for laboratory analysis.
