Study Purpose: This research is checking how safe and effective an investigational medication called Insulin Glargine U300 is for adults with uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), a condition where blood sugar levels are too high.
Time Commitment: The study lasts about 37 weeks, which includes a 1-week screening, 24 weeks of treatment, and 12 weeks of observation.
Eligibility Criteria: You must be 18 years or older, diagnosed with T2DM, and either not using insulin or using a stable dose of certain diabetes medications. You should not have used fast-acting insulin recently unless it was for a short period due to illness or surgery. Pregnant or breastfeeding women cannot participate.
